Job summary

Food City is looking for a friendly Food Service Associate to support store operations in Georgia. You will greet customers, assist with cake decoration, and ensure department areas stay organized and clean.

Responsibilities include taking orders, maintaining cake cases, and collaborating with teammates to deliver quick, courteous service. No prior food service experience is required, but a positive attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Food Service experience a plus, but not required.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions, perform routine tasks and interact with people daily.
• Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to time policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous customer service to support the company mission.
• Prepare and produce quality food and products to meet customer expectations.
• Decorate specialty cakes, cupcakes and cookies.
• Maintain cake and cookie cases and display areas.
• Take telephone orders for foods and specialty cakes.
• Cross-train in multiple areas with varying responsibilities.
