Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Food service experience a plus, but not required.
• Ability to meet standard physical, mental, and visual demands.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions, perform routine tasks with daily interaction.
• On-site attendance to adhere to company time and attendance policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient, courteous customer service aligned with Food City's mission to Run the Best Store in Town.
• Maintain a positive atmosphere through teamwork and flexibility.
• Greet customers and respond to inquiries with a customer-first approach.
• Prepare and decorate cakes and cupcakes, including photo cake decorating.
• Maintain cake and cookie cases and rotate/dating products appropriately.
• Take telephone orders for food and specialty cakes and ensure timely delivery readiness.
• Cross-train in multiple areas with varying responsibilities.
