Job summary

Food City is seeking team members to deliver friendly, efficient customer service and help maintain our bakery and food service areas. You will greet customers, decorate cakes and cookies, and keep displays neat while supporting inventory and ordering tasks.

Applicants should be 18+ with a positive attitude, able to follow instructions, and able to work on-site as part of a flexible team. Experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Food Service experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to meet standard physical, mental, and visual demands.
• Ability to follow verbal or written instructions and perform routine tasks.
• Able to attend on-site shifts and abide by time policies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver courteous, efficient customer service in support of the store's mission.
• Greet customers, provide help, and maintain a friendly, fun atmosphere.
• Decorate cakes, cupcakes, and cookies, and prepare quality food products.
• Maintain cake and cookie displays and rotate products as needed.
• Take telephone orders and ensure timely delivery of special cakes.
• Keep workstations neat and assist with inventory and ordering.
