Job summary

Food City is seeking a Food Service Associate to uphold our customer-first ethos in-store. You will greet customers, provide prompt service, and help decorate cakes and cupcakes using a photo cake computer. Responsibilities include stocking cases, taking telephone orders for custom items, and ensuring products are rotated and dated correctly.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Food Service experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to meet physical, mental, and visual demands.
• Able to understand and follow verbal or written instructions and perform routine tasks.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient and courteous customer service at all times.
• Greet and speak to customers with a customer-first approach.
• Decorate specialty cakes and cupcakes, including photo cakes.
• Maintain and restock cake and cookie cases and take telephone orders.
• Rotate and date Food Service products and manage inventory.
