Job summary

Food City is seeking entry-level team members to support customer service and bakery operations. You will greet customers, assist with cake decorating, and maintain pastry displays while following company procedures.

Training is provided, and flexible schedules are available to fit personal needs. Ideal candidates are reliable, able to work on-site in a fast-paced environment, and committed to contributing to a positive, friendly store atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Food Service experience is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to meet standard Physical, Mental, and Visual demands.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and perform routine tasks.
• Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient and courteous customer service at all times.
• Maintain a positive attitude and teamwork to create a friendly environment.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Prepare and produce quality food & products to meet expectations.
• Decorate specialty cakes, cupcakes and cookies.
• Maintain cake and cookie displays and cases.
• Take telephone orders for food and specialty cakes.
• Ensure proper rotation and dating of food products.
• Assist in inventory management and ordering as needed.
