Job summary

The GIANT Company in Manchester, PA is hiring a bakery team member. You will review the shift schedule, gather supplies, follow PPE rules, and prepare for duties at the start of each shift.

Duties include frosting and decorating cakes, taking and storing orders, and cleaning and sanitizing work surfaces. You must meet U.S. work authorization, read/write English, and comply with safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Able to read, write, and communicate effectively
• Must complete the 60-day introductory period
• Meet ergonomic and physical requirements
• Able to use or learn to use equipment and tools
• Able to perform all job functions safely
• Meet performance standards including regular attendance
• 1 year of work experience or technical training preferred

Responsibilities

• Review the work schedule at start of shift and prepare PPE and supplies
• Mix frosting, color frosting, make cones, load cones, frost cakes and decorate
• Take orders, complete orders, and store orders in bakery cooler
• Clean and sanitize all surfaces, tools, equipment, display cases, floors and counters
• Track and record loss
• Demonstrate proper food safety and sanitation habits
