Job summary

The GIANT Company is seeking a team member for our Newport Township location in USA. You will assist in bakery operations, prepare frosting and cakes, take and fulfill orders, and maintain a clean, safe work environment in compliance with PPE and food safety rules.

Qualifications include legal authorization to work in the U.S., the ability to read and communicate effectively, and a willingness to complete a 60-day introductory period.

• Able to read, write, and communicate to complete duties and comply with policies
• Must complete the company introductory period of 60 days
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements
• Must be able to use or learn the equipment and tools used to perform this job
• Must meet the company performance standards including regular attendance
• 1 year of work experience or technical training preferred

Responsibilities

• Review the work schedule at the start of the shift, check equipment and supplies, comply with PPE requirements, and prepare for duties.
• Mix frosting, color frosting, make cones, load cones, frost cakes, and decorate cakes with icing.
• Take, complete, and store orders in the bakery cooler.
• Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, tools, display cases, floors and counters.
• Track and record loss.
• Demonstrate proper food safety and sanitation work habits.
