Job summary

Food City is seeking associates to provide courteous customer service, bake and decorate specialty cakes, cupcakes, and cookies, and maintain clean, organized display areas. The role emphasizes a friendly, positive workplace and teamwork to support the store’s goal of running the best store in town.

Candidates should be 18+ and enjoy a flexible, on-site role with opportunities to learn multiple areas within Food Service, including cake decorating and inventory management.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Food Service experience a plus, but not required.
• Ability to meet standard Physical, Mental, and Visual demands.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions, perform routine tasks and interact with diverse individuals daily.
• Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to time policies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient and courteous customer service at all times to support the company mission.
• Maintain a positive attitude and a friendly environment through teamwork.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous, and efficient service.
• Prepare and produce quality food and products to meet customer expectations.
