Food City in Virginia is seeking a friendly Food Service Associate to support daily operations and help us Run the Best Store in Town. You will greet customers, prepare baked goods, decorate cakes and cookies, and keep the display cases neat while delivering prompt service.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Food service experience a plus, but not required.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions, perform routine and repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous customer service to support the store mission.
• Prepare and decorate food items like cakes, cupcakes, and cookies.
• Maintain display cases and workstations.
• Take telephone orders for food and specialty cakes.
