Job summary

Food City in Ocoee, Tennessee seeks a friendly, motivated Food Service Associate to support daily bakery and deli operations. This entry-level role offers on-site training and exposure to customer service, food preparation, and cake decorating within a collaborative team.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, preparing and decorating baked goods, maintaining display cases, and keeping areas clean. Must be 18+, able to stand and perform repetitive tasks, and work scheduled shifts on-site.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Food Service experience a plus, but not required.
• Ability to meet standard Physical, Mental, and Visual demands.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions, perform routine and repetitive tasks and have constant contact/interaction with various levels of individuals on a daily basis.
• Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to company time and attendance policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient, courteous customer service in support of the Food City mission.
• Greet customers, answer questions, and assist with requests to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Prepare and decorate baked goods and food items to meet quality standards.
• Maintain display cases and keep work areas clean and organized.
• Take telephone orders for food and specialty cakes and ensure timely delivery or pickup.
