Food City in Maynardville, TN is seeking entry-level Food Service Associates to support daily store operations and guest experiences. You will help with cake decorating, case maintenance, and customer orders while contributing to a friendly, customer-first environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Food service experience is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to meet standard Physical, Mental, and Visual demands.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions, perform routine and repetitive tasks.
• On-site work attendance per schedule to adhere to time policies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient and courteous customer service at all times.
• Maintain a positive atmosphere through teamwork and flexibility.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous assistance.
• Prepare and decorate cakes and baked goods as needed.
• Maintain display cases and keep work area clean and organized.
• Take telephone orders and manage special cake orders.
• Assist in inventory, dating, and rotation of food service products.
• Cross-train in multiple areas to handle varying responsibilities.
