Job Title: Cake Decorator

In this friendly, flexible team environment, you will play an important role in helping us provide outstanding service in a clean and welcoming atmosphere. Your role involves assisting the Bakery Deli Manager in creating and decorating high-quality, creative cakes for our customers.

Daily Operations

1. Providing exceptional service and sharing your knowledge of bakery and deli goods.
2. Creating beautiful, eye-catching custom cake designs.
3. Maintaining proper stock levels of decorated cakes.
4. Ensuring product quality, freshness, and proper dating.
5. Keeping the Bakery Deli Department clean and well-signaged.
6. Assisting with cake orders, inventory, and decorating supplies, and offering expert customer advice.
7. Ensuring timely order fulfillment and pick-ups.

Company Standards

1. Following all safety guidelines and reporting safety equipment issues.
2. Adhering to company policies, including dress code and wearing a name tag.
3. Completing required training for the Bakery Deli Department.
4. Staying updated on the latest training and maintaining good communication with other departments.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs. occasionally and exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently. Ability to stand, move, and handle materials at various workstations is essential. Must be comfortable using knives and other sharp tools for food preparation. This role involves medium physical work, requiring good vision and hearing, as well as the ability to work on potentially slippery floors.
