Job summary

Smashin Crab is hiring friendly, knowledgeable servers to provide attentive service and guide guests through Cajun dining experiences. You will enter orders, suggest add-ons, and ensure accuracy and guest satisfaction throughout the meal.

Role includes support for Host/Expo/Busser/Runners and front-of-house duties as needed. Training emphasizes menu knowledge, upselling, and compliance with alcohol service policies.

Qualifications

• Previous serving, restaurant, hospitality or customer-service experience is preferred.
• Strong menu-learning, sales and guest-service abilities.
• Ability to explain detailed menu items and preparation methods confidently.
• Ability to manage multiple tables and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable using a point-of-sale system and handling guest payments.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and explain the menu and dining process.
• Recommend menu items, add-ons, and beverages to support sales.
• Enter orders accurately into the POS, including modifiers and allergies.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and communicate with kitchen and management as needed.
• Run food and beverages promptly and ensure table cleanliness and reset between parties.
