Job summary

Hook & Reel, one of the most established Cajun Seafood restaurant brands in the U.S., seeks a passionate Server to join its fast-paced team and help deliver exceptional guest experiences.

You will greet guests, answer questions, and ensure accurate orders while collaborating with the kitchen and bar to maintain smooth service. This role rewards strong communicators who thrive in lively settings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of restaurant server experience.
• Valid state-mandated food handlers certification.
• Valid state-mandated alcohol handlers certification.
• Experience with POS systems.
• Strong communication and customer service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival.
• Answer guest questions regarding the menu and Hook & Reel brand.
• Provide accurate information regarding menu, pricing, hours, promotions, and policies.
• Listen attentively to guests to ensure correct orders.
• Assist with side work and opening/closing tasks.
• Clean and organize the front-of-house server station.
• Observe and monitor table turnover by noting occupied, dirty or clean tables.
• Ensure guest satisfaction by providing quality service and checking in during the dining experience.
• Inform management of special requests or guest concerns.
• Communicate clearly with kitchen staff regarding allergy orders.
• Maintain a positive, energetic hospitality attitude at all times.
• Multi-task between bar and dining room orders.
• Be a team player, assisting other team members as needed.
• Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.
