Job summary

Casino Del Sol is seeking a Cage Supervisor to assist management in supervising Cage Cashiers and Vault during shifts. The role balances Cage Cashier and Vault accountability and reports to Cage Manager & Cage Assistant Manager.

The candidate will oversee operations, ensure compliance with internal controls and gaming regulations, and communicate across departments. This position requires supervisory experience, strong math skills, and the ability to handle large sums of money, with flexibility

Qualifications

• One year supervisory or above experience.
• Money handling experience and ability to operate a 10-key by sight.
• Must have employment eligibility in the U.S.
• Must be able to obtain a valid gaming license.
• Excellent mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Cage Cashier operation and Vault during shift.
• Verify procedures and sign off on forms requiring a Cage Supervisor's signature.
• Develop weekly schedules for the shift when needed.
• Ensure internal control policies and State Gaming Compact provisions are followed at all times.
• Coordinate with departments and guests, communicating effectively.

Position: Cage Supervisor
Department: Cage
Job Summary:
Assists Cage management with supervision of all Cage Cashiers and Vault during shift, balances Cage Cashier and Vault accountability, following departmental and company procedures. Reports to Cage Manager & Cage Assistant Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities (specific areas of responsibilities include but are not limited to):

• Oversee Cage Cashier operation of the IGT Smart System for Slots
• Responsible for verifying procedures and signing off on forms requiring a Cage Supervisor's signature.
• Responsible for the development of weekly schedules for their particular shift when need arises.
• Responsible for ensuring that all internal control policies, procedures, and State Gaming Compact provisions are being followed at all times in the Cage.
• Ensures all support duties and responsibilities to all departments are carried out in an efficient and timely manner and that immediate action on any situation that might be illegal or otherwise extraordinary.
• Must have the ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with all Departments, Employees and Guests.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• The ability to keep up with fast paced atmosphere and work under pressure
• Must be in good physical condition, able to lift 25 lbs.
• Must be able to bend and lift bags or cans of coins from ground to counter level
• Must be able to stand and walk 100% of the job time
• Must provide courteous service and is cordial to all employees and guests
• Excellent mathematical skills
• Possess sound mature judgment
• High school diploma or GED
• At least one (1) year Supervisory or above experience.
• Must have money handling experience and ability to operate a 10-key by sight.
• Ability to count large amounts of money
• Must be able to work any shift, weekends, holidays, special events, and overtime, as needed
• Must have employment eligibility in the U.S.
• Must be able to obtain a valid gaming license

Preferred Requirements:

• Previous Cage experience in a Gaming establishment.
