Job summary

Bally's in Baton Rouge is seeking a friendly Guest Relations Associate to welcome guests, assist with inquiries, and help ensure a memorable visit.

You will handle cash transactions, verify IDs, and maintain accuracy in daily cash handling while upholding company policies and delivering exceptional service to every guest. Experience in gaming is a plus and a professional demeanor is essential.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
• Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, guest service, written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Professional demeanor and presence when interacting with guests and team members.
• Gaming industry experience is preferred.

Job description

• Build guest relations throughout every shift by talking with guests, making them feel welcome and comfortable, and inviting them back.
• Redeem and sell chips to guests.
• Promptly cash guests out, give correct change, and answer guest questions in a courteous and professional manner.
• Appropriately use all related equipment and cash handling systems.
• Keep cash drawer balanced and imprest.
• Make exchanges with the vault.
• Verify and document personal identification information for appropriate transactions.
• Maintain monetary and paperwork accuracy and efficiency within department/property standards.
• Track and complete all government reporting.
• Have knowledge of guest alcohol limitations and company policy and procedure regarding limitations.
• Keep work area in a clean and orderly manner.
• Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and Company policies in an ethical manner and empower and require others to do the same.
• Handle routine guest complaints and incidents and exhibit the appropriate discretion to identify situations requiring the attention of supervisory personnel - seek to resolve all situations in a manner that maintains positive guest relationships.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule as required by business operations, including late nights, weekends, and holidays; shifts may change.
• Perform other duties as assigned or reasonably requested by any member of management.

Target Compensation Range:
