The Cage & Credit Shift Manager is accountable for the operation of the cage and credit team on a shift basis. Supervises all cage, vault/bank, credit, and guest service functions and personnel to ensure that all guests have an enjoyable gaming experience.
Responsibilities
Where You'll Make an Impact:
- Supervise the Guest Services personnel on the assigned shift to ensure accurate control over casino funds.
- Ensure all policies and procedures are followed.
- Manage processes and procedures to control and reduce loss time injuries.
- Review staffing levels to maintain budgeted employment.
- Delegate authority and assign responsibilities.
- Develop staff through training, interviewing for hires, and performance management, including disciplinary actions up to termination and conducting evaluations.
- Maintain records and reports related to variances, deposits & credit activity, and process or approve customer applications for casino credit.
- Oversee credit processing in accordance with IC §609a.3.
- Approve and extend credit limits as per internal controls and regulations.
- Obtain second approval for all casino credit applications from the General Manager, Director of Finance, or Cage & Credit Manager.
- Manage department financial data.
- Review cage shift activities with the Cage & Credit Manager.
- Meet with departmental Directors and Managers as necessary.
- Extend complements in accordance with the property’s comp matrix.

Qualifications
Must-Haves:
- Four (4) year degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field OR
- Equivalent work experience in casino cage operations including Slot and Table Games.
- Ability to secure and maintain licensure as required by the Virginia Gaming Control Board or other regulatory entities.
Physical Requirements:
- Present oneself in a well-groomed, friendly, and professional manner.
- Must be able to:
- Stoop, bend, and squat.
- Work in loud, visually distracting, and temperature-variable environments.
- Stand 100% of the time.
- Walk 50% of the time.
- Lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
- Pull and push up to 75 lbs. with assistance.
- Use stairs and elevators.
