Overview
The Cage & Credit Shift Manager is accountable for the operation of the cage and credit team on a shift basis. Supervises all cage, vault/ bank, credit and guest service functions and personnel to ensure all guests have an enjoyable gaming experience.
Responsibilities (Text Only)
Where You'll Make an Impact:
- Supervise guest services personnel to ensure accurate control over casino funds.
- Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.
- Manage processes to control and reduce loss time injuries.
- Review staffing levels to maintain budgeted employment.
- Delegate authority and responsibilities.
- Develop staff through training, interviewing, performance management, disciplinary actions, and evaluations.
- Maintain records and reports related to variances, deposits, credit activity, and customer applications for casino credit.
- Oversee credit processing in accordance with internal controls and regulations.
- Approve and extend credit limits per internal policies.
- Obtain second approval for all casino credit applications from senior management.
- Manage department financial data.
- Review cage shift activities with the Cage & Credit Manager.
- Meet with departmental Directors and Managers as needed.
- Extend complimentary services according to the property’s comp matrix.

- Ability to analyze and interpret departmental needs and results.
- Understanding of complex documents, tax laws, banking codes, gaming laws, and regulations.

Qualifications
Must-Haves:
- Four-year degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field OR
- Equivalent work experience in casino cage operations that includes Slot and Table Games.
- Ability to secure and maintain licensure as required by regulatory authorities.
Physical Requirements
- Well-groomed, friendly, and professional appearance.
- Ability to stoop, bend, squat, and work in loud, visually distracting environments.
- Standing 100%, walking 50%, lifting and pulling up to 75 lbs., using stairs and elevators.
