Monarch Casino Resort Spa - Black Hawk is seeking a Cage Cashier in Black Hawk, Colorado. The role entails processing guest transactions with a focus on accuracy and guest satisfaction, and requires handling cash, checks, and coupons while maintaining secure funds.

Candidates should have 1–2 years of cash handling and guest service experience, strong math and English skills, and the ability to work in a high-volume, dynamic environment. Stand-up work with flexible shifts is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and eligible for a Colorado Gaming License.
• 1–2 years of cash handling experience required.
• 1–2 years of guest service experience required.
• Ability to work in a high-volume, sometimes loud environment.
• Basic to intermediate computer knowledge.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.
• Ability to speak and write English clearly.
• Strong mathematical skills.
• Must stand for the duration of the shift; able to push/pull up to 25 lbs and occasionally 45 lbs.
• Ability to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Process guest transactions while ensuring a positive guest experience.
• Ensure all transactions are processed in a timely and accurate manner.
• Handle cashier transactions, including coupons, checks, and change.
• Receive, secure, balance, and distribute cash during shift.
• Maintain custody of funds and prepare reports and records.
• Process documentation per gaming regulations and procedures.
• Check guests for proper identification.
