Monarch Casino Resort Spa in Black Hawk, Colorado is seeking a Cage Cashier to process guest transactions and maintain accurate cash handling during shifts. Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and able to obtain Colorado Support Gaming License.
• 1–2 years cash handling or cashier experience required.
• 1–2 years guest service experience required.
• Ability to work in a high-volume, sometimes loud environment.
• Basic to intermediate computer knowledge.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills with guests.
• Ability to speak and write English clearly.
• Ability to read and understand information.
• Strong mathematical skills.
• Must stand for the duration of the shift.
• Ability to bend, stoop and use hands continually.
• Ability to push/pull up to 25 lbs, occasionally 45 lbs.
• Ability to work all shifts, including weekends/holidays.
• Pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Process guest transactions while ensuring a positive guest experience.
• Ensure all transactions are processed in a timely and accurate manner.
• Process cashier transactions, including redeeming coupons, cashing checks, and making change.
• Receive, secure, balance, handle, count, reconcile, and distribute large sums of money during shift.
• Maintain custody of funds and records, and prepare reports for the bank.
• Process documentation per gaming regulations and department procedures.
• Check guests for proper identification.

• Processes documentation based on current gaming regulations and department procedures.

• 1-2 years prior cash handling or cashier experience required.

• 1-2 years prior guest service experience required.

• Ability to work in high volume, sometimes loud ever-changing environment.

• Basic to intermediate computer knowledge.

• Must possess excellent guest service and communication skills with the ability to deal with guests.

• Ability to speak and write English.Ability to communicate information through spoken words and sentences that others will understand.

• Ability to read and understand information and instructions presented in writing.

• Strong general mathematical skills.

• Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift.

• Must be able to bend, stoop and continuously use hands.

• Ability to push and pull up to 25lbs pounds and occasionally up to 45lbs.

• Ability to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays when needed.

• Successfully pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen.
