Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. is seeking a versatile kitchen associate to prepare breakfast and lunch, assist serving lines, and support catering events. The role covers all kitchen functions, from setup to clean up, in a campus dining environment.

Responsibilities include preparing foods per menu, operating slicers and mixers, maintaining FIFO inventory, ensuring food temps, and adhering to safety protocols. This is an on-site role with pay discussed by the Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read and follow menus and recipes.
• Standard kitchen equipment operation and food handling knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist with set-up of serving lines and maintain proper food temperatures.
• Prepare foods per menu plan and Opaa! recipes; prep ahead for next day.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders and other equipment with proper certification.
• Keep work areas neat, clean, and organized; practice FIFO inventory.
• Maintain dishwashing area, monitor chemical usage, and store cleaned dishes.
• Assist with daily production records and adherence to safety logs.
• Participate in daily dish and required trainings; promote Opaa!'s core values.
