Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. in Alabama is seeking kitchen team members to prepare breakfast and/or lunch offerings, assist serving lines, and participate in occasional catering functions. You will perform all kitchen positions to help deliver quality meals to students.

Responsibilities include setting up serving lines, preparing foods per menu and Opaa! recipes, operating equipment with proper certification, and maintaining clean, organized work areas while following HACCP safety rules.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Follow HACCP processes and safety logs.
• Ability to operate standard kitchen equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Assist with set-up of serving lines daily and ensure correct temperatures.
• Prepare foods per menu and Opaa! recipes; plan ahead for next day menus.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders, and other equipment with proper certification.
• Keep work areas neat, clean, and organized; maintain FIFO stock.
• Requisition food and supplies through the Kitchen Manager.
• Serve items with proper portions and hospitality; present well.
