Job summary

Atlantic Health System is seeking a dedicated cafeteria worker responsible for preparing food for patients, associates and guests. You will review menus and orders to determine the type and quantity of food to be prepared, and support serving at grill and deli stations.

The role requires maintaining cleanliness, stocking items, and ensuring sanitation while providing friendly service. You will participate in daily operations, meetings and training as needed in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Ensures department meetings, monthly in-services, training classes, etc. as assigned.
• Performs and meets customer needs and takes appropriate steps to rectify issues.
• Maintains stocks and replenishes cafeteria items as needed according to department standards.
• Maintains cleanliness of cafeteria, serving areas, and tray return areas, and ensures sanitation of all equipment's.
• Demonstrates a positive and friendly attitude.
• Prepares and serves daily menu cycle items for grill and deli station.
• Cleans and stocks area after each meal.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
