Job summary

Atlantic Health System is seeking a hospital food service worker to prepare and serve meals in one or more dining environments. You will assemble and deliver patient meal trays, assist on the tray line, and help maintain presentation and food safety standards.

You will interact with patients to take orders and ensure timely delivery, restock and sanitize work areas, and support various duties across food service environments in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Support patient and retail dining services.
• Maintain hygiene and food safety during service.
• Assist in tray-line operations and meal delivery.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and deliver patient meal trays.
• Restock workstations and clean as needed.
• Interact with patients to take orders and deliver trays.
• Monitor lines for quality, temperature, and safety.
• Report safety issues to department leadership.
• Restock patient-use products on the tray line.
• Remove trash from kitchen.
• Maintain high presentation and food preparation standards.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
