Job summary

Qualifications

• Proficiency in preparing a variety of foods in a cafeteria setting.
• Must be able to read and follow recipes and portion controls.
• Completion of department sponsored food safety training within 6 months of hire is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares a wide variety of meats, fowl, fish, and vegetables for lunch and dinner.
• Operates standard cooking equipment and maintains production sheets.
• Supervises cleaning of kitchens, refrigerators, and storerooms; leads assisting workers.
