SUMMARY:

This individual ensures that employees are served in a courteous and efficient manner. Responsibilities include setting up, maintaining, and breaking down food lines, preparing salads, garnishes, and other food items. The role also involves maintaining organization, cleanliness, and sanitation of the cafeteria and its equipment and supplies.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the cafeteria area.
2. Follow all policies and procedures as per Newrest and client requirements.
3. Communicate effectively with all team members.
4. Prepare salad bar, garnishes, desserts, and snack bar as needed.
5. Set up, maintain, and break down food lines; serve food.
6. Be accountable for all assigned responsibilities.
7. Monitor food standards, workflow, activities, and product quality continuously.
8. Ensure cleanliness of cafeteria and serving areas.
9. Maintain regular and timely attendance.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.
11. Stand for long periods as required.
