Job summary

The Ranch at Laguna Beach is seeking an experienced restaurant supervisor to lead outlet service, ensure quality, and interact with guests to exceed expectations. You will supervise lineups, coordinate staff and events, and maintain high standards of grooming and service across shifts.

You will work closely with kitchen and front-of-house teams to deliver professional, timely service, manage reservations, and resolve guest concerns while promoting all Ranch amenities and experiences.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent education required.
• Minimum of three years food and beverage service, with at least one year in supervision.
• Experience in a high-level fine dining establishment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend daily lineups to set grooming guidelines and station allocations.
• Ensure meals are served professionally and in a timely manner by coordinating with kitchen and servers.
• Handle guest complaints in a friendly and professional manner.
• Monitor setup and maintenance of the service area to standards.
• Interact with guests to promote The Ranch facilities and services.
• Respond to issues and resolve problems to the satisfaction of all parties.
• Answer phones, coordinate, and document reservations.
• Maintain cross-department communication to meet guest needs.
• Observe food quality and service, checking temps and presentation.
• Provide guidance for improvements and adjust as needed for consistency.
• Assist with reporting on production and distribution of supplies.
