Job summary

Daily Provisions, a cafe under Union Square Hospitality Group, is seeking a Cafe Sous Chef to lead kitchen operations with the Café Chef and oversee line cooks and BOH team members. You will ensure pars, prep, and menu execution meet Daily Provisions' standards and maintain a clean, safe kitchen aligned with health-code requirements.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in culinary/kitchen leadership and casual dining.
• Excellent food & beverage knowledge.
• Experience in training and developing Back of House team members.
• English fluency.
• Able to use Microsoft Office applications.
• Hospitality-related certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen operations with Cafe Chef and supervise Line Cooks and BOH staff.
• Ensure all recipes, prep, and service meet Daily Provisions' standards and health codes.
• Collaborate with FOH and BOH to deliver guest experiences across in-restaurant, delivery, and catering.
• Provide training and performance feedback to the BOH team.
