Job summary

7 Leaves Café is hiring a Shift Lead in Irvine, CA to support daily cafe operations and assist the manager in keeping the store running smoothly when they’re away. You'll help delegate tasks, maintain a safe, clean environment, and ensure service quality during 25–30 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Must be able to regularly lift at least 50 lbs.
• Proficiency with technology/computer systems (e.g., Excel, attendance, ordering systems).
• Excellent communication, problem solving, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage bakery operations independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, and walking.
• Eagerness to learn and accept feedback.

Responsibilities

• Support operations by maintaining high standards whether a manager is present.
• Handle stressful situations calmly to ensure smooth service.
• Communicate clearly with team and manager to avoid miscommunication.
• Foster a positive team environment and address team needs.
• Assist team members to solve problems and improve performance.
• Execute opening/closing duties and bakery operations on schedule.
• Receive and organize all orders and inventory.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
