Job summary

7 Leaves Cafe in Cerritos, CA is seeking a Shift Lead to support the manager in daily cafe operations. You will delegate tasks, maintain a safe and clean work environment, and ensure operations run smoothly when the manager is not present.

The role typically requires 25-30 hours per week with varying shifts, usually weekdays from morning to early afternoon. This position is onsite at our Cerritos location.

Qualifications

• Regularly lift at least 50 lbs.
• Proficient with technology and computer systems (e.g., Excel, attendance and ordering systems).
• Excellent communication, problem solving, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage bakery operations independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain operations high standard with or without a manager present.
• Stay calm in stressful situations to ensure smooth operations and assist teammates.
• Communicate clearly with team and manager to ensure smooth transitions.
• Create a positive team environment and address changes or difficulties.
• Assist teammates to solve problems and improve efficiency.
• Execute opening/closing duties and bakery operations with punctuality.
• Ensure all orders and inventory are received and organized.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
