Eurest, a division of Compass Group, is seeking a Cafe & Retail Manager to lead the successful daily operation of its retail/cafeteria unit. You will oversee staff, budgeting, inventory, and customer relations while implementing new culinary programs with the marketing and culinary teams.

The role emphasizes leadership, cost controls, and delivering high-quality service in corporate dining settings. A culinary background and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Preferred culinary degree or A.A. degree with related experience.
• Experience supervising food service operations.
• Knowledge of retail, food and catering trends; focus on quality and cost controls.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Financial, budgeting, accounting and computing skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic computer programs.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily administrative and operational tasks.
• Manages staff and performance.
• Develops budgets, forecasts and financial reporting for the account.
• Monitors market trends and adjusts strategies accordingly.
• Controls costs and expenditures for the account.
