Job summary

Eurest USA in Los Angeles is seeking a proactive Retail Manager to lead the cafe and retail operation across corporate dining sites. You will supervise staff, manage cash controls, payroll records, and training while ensuring customer satisfaction and efficient use of resources.

Responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, cost controls, inventory, and rollout of new culinary programs in collaboration with marketing and culinary teams, serving as the primary liaison with the client.

Qualifications

• Culinary degree or A.A. with related experience.
• Three+ years supervisory experience in food service operations.
• Experience in healthcare, senior living or related environments desirable.
• Knowledge of retail, food and catering trends with focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
• Leadership, management and coaching skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Financial, budgetary, accounting and computational skills.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office programs, e-mail, the Internet and other necessary computer programs.
• ServSafe® Certified

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily administrative and operational tasks.
• Manages all aspects of staff management.
• Manages all financials including budget development, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Maintains knowledge of the market place and trends.
• Manages cost controls and control expenditures for the account.
• Oversees sanitation and safety of assigned unit(s).
• Purchases and manages inventory.
• Rolls out new culinary programs in conjunction with Company marketing and culinary team.
• Acts as the direct liaison with the client
