Job summary

Flynn Panera is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead upscale Panera Bread cafes. You will guide a team of up to 75 staff, maintain cleanliness, food quality and safety, and deliver exceptional customer experiences in a fast-paced, grease-free environment with no fryers and no late nights.

You’ll recruit, train, coach, and mentor staff, manage budgeting and costs, and collaborate with leadership to drive profitability while upholding Panera’s values and café standards.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years hospitality management experience
• A degree or equivalent in Hospitality or Hotel/Restaurant Management is preferred
• Food Management Certifications also a plus
• Must have the “Run it Like you Own It Mentality”

Responsibilities

• Taking responsibility for overall business performance of the restaurant, including ordering, scheduling, labor, marketing, facilities, bakery operations, and catering
• Analyzing and planning restaurant sales levels and profitability
• Creating and executing plans for sustained profitability
• Primary conduit of information between the associate and the management team
• Retaining and developing team members and managers
• Manages a budget and controls costs
• Coordinating the entire operation of the restaurant during scheduled shifts
• Greeting customers and ensuring customer satisfaction
• Inspire associates to be productive and authentic
• Coach and mentor through One-on-Ones and performance reviews
• Resolves associate questions and issues
