Job summary

Continental is seeking a Supervisor to lead daily cafe operations and coordinate onsite catering events. This role balances kitchen management with client relations and staff supervision to ensure top-quality service.

You will oversee inventory, food ordering, scheduling, and adherence to recipes and safety standards, while maintaining a clean, compliant kitchen and strong customer focus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in a leadership role in food service.
• College or culinary training or equivalent production experience.
• Knowledge of local health and sanitation laws.
• Serv-Safe certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares daily production list.
• Ensures stations are stocked before and during meals.
• Handles end of day deposits and drawer counts.
• Verifies recipes and portioning.
• Keeps kitchen and storage areas clean and organized.
• Places food and supply orders as directed.
• Receives products by verifying invoices and freshness.
• Trains employees to company standards.
• Sets high standards of customer service.
• Participates as part of the management team.
• Manages staffing levels across shifts.
• Oversees kitchen labor and food cost to budget.
