Job summary

Blank Street, Inc. is seeking a Café Manager in Boston to lead daily operations, coach staff, ensure product quality, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. You’ll manage scheduling, inventory, and compliance while growing the store’s performance and local brand presence.

With 4+ years in high-growth hospitality, you’ll own the financials, partner with People and Ops teams, and champion guest service, coffee standards, and safe, welcoming store environments.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience managing and leading single-store unit operations in high growth hospitality or consumer brands.
• Full Time availability: 45 hours per week, 5 days, including 2 peak days (weekends).
• Experience hiring, developing and managing hospitality teams is a plus

Responsibilities

• Create a motivating team culture through training, coaching, and mentoring.
• Cover scheduling gaps in store schedule.
• Publish staff schedules compliant with state and local labor laws.
• Review timecards and PTO to ensure accurate and timely pay.
• Recruit talent in collaboration with People team.
• Oversee training quality and provide coaching to Shift Leads.
• Maintain coffee quality and beverage standards across store.
• Manage ordering, vendor relations, waste, inventory, and compliance of Inventory Management System.
