Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of management or supervisory experience in food service, hospitality, or related industry.
• Experience in environments such as restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, higher education, healthcare, or military dining.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, cash handling, and food service operations.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with exceptional customer service.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and general computer applications.
• ServSafe Certification or DoH Food Safety Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, train, and develop a team of food service associates to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the café, ensuring efficiency, quality, and an outstanding guest experience.
• Plan, promote, and execute special events, seasonal promotions, and café initiatives.
• Maintain the highest standards of food safety, sanitation, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage inventory, labor, and operating expenses while meeting budget and financial goals.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, guest satisfaction, and overall business performance.
• Monitor cash handling procedures and ensure company policies and standards are followed.
• Build a positive, collaborative team culture focused on hospitality and service excellence.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
