Job summary

Corner Market Café is seeking a Café Manager to lead daily operations with a positive, upbeat, guest-focused environment. You will report to the District Manager and commit to a 45-hour workweek across six days, driving operational excellence and high-quality service.

You will coach a high-performing team, manage scheduling and inventory, and ensure food safety and financial performance while maintaining brand standards and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Must consent to a criminal background check and drug screening
• ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain) required

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, energetic, and guest-focused café environment every day
• Lead, coach, train, and develop team members to deliver outstanding service and operational excellence
• Build a positive team culture through recognition, communication, accountability, and support
• Recruit and retain friendly, service-oriented team members who align with company culture
• Oversee daily operations including scheduling, inventory, food safety, cash control, and labor management
• Maintain strong store standards for cleanliness, organization, speed, and product quality
• Monitor and manage controllable expenses including labor, waste, and shrink
• Support promotions, sales initiatives, and community engagement efforts with enthusiasm
• Complete administrative tasks, reporting, and documentation accurately and on time
• Model professionalism, positivity, urgency, and strong work ethic during every shift
• Jump into operational tasks as needed including cashiering, food preparation, guest service, and restocking
• Address employee or guest concerns professionally and in alignment with company policy
• Partner with the District Manager to achieve operational, financial, and customer service goals
• Perform additional duties as assigned
