Cavender Toyota is seeking a Cafe/Service Cashier Associate to join our team in San Antonio. You will greet customers, process service-related payments, and help manage the lobby area to create a welcoming experience.

This role emphasizes accuracy, courtesy, and teamwork in a fast-paced dealership environment. Ideal candidates have 1 year of customer service or clerical experience, a valid driver’s license, and are available to work 7 am–7 pm, Monday through Saturday.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• 1 year of dealership experience preferred.
• At least 1 year of customer service or clerical work.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a polite, friendly manner.
• Process service estimates, invoices, and payments.
• Print estimates, handle cash drawer, and reconcile daily.
• Restock refreshments and keep the customer lounge neat.
• Manage customer keys while vehicles are waiting.
• Coordinate withSales/Service teams and answer questions.
• Assist callers and route to Service or Sales staff as needed.

Here is what you will be doing:

• Responsible for greeting all customers in a polite and friendly manner
• Knows and understands extended service policies, and processes extended warranty payments for repair orders
• Responsible for printing out estimates and invoices and accept payment for completed service work
• Responsible for restocking refreshments, food, and lobby materials in the customer lounge keeping the area neat and inviting during business hours
• Responsible for customer keys while cars are waiting to be picked up by their owners
• Reconciles cash drawer daily
• Works with sales manager to learn about products and services offered, their features and value, and any price changes to services our store offers
• Filing of all repair orders throughout day
• Work cooperatively with the sales and service team
• Answers customer questions about service performed or products purchased, or refers them to one of the Service or Sales professional who can
• Handles customer complaints with integrity and poise and refers customers to the appropriate individuals for resolution if it is outside the scope of the cashier duties
• Answer incoming service calls as needed

Here is what you will need:

• High School Diploma/GED is required
• Successfully complete MVR, background check, and pre-employment drug test.
• Valid driver's license
• 1 year of experience in a dealership position is preferred
• 1 year minimum of customer service and/or clerical experience
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Positive attitude and high energy
• Candidates will need to be available work during our department hours: Monday - Saturday 7 am - 7 pm
