Fitness Formula Clubs (FFC) Oak Park is hiring a Part-time Cafe Attendant. The role centers on greeting members, assisting with product selection, and ensuring a clean, welcoming cafe space.

You will handle cash transactions and prepare tasty treats according to standard recipes. The position requires a friendly, reliable, and coachable individual who can obtain an Illinois Food Handlers Certificate within 30 days of employment.

Job description

Position: Cafe Attendant

Job Type: Part-time

Location: FFC Oak Park

Required Shifts: Monday availability is a must, flexible for Saturdays and Sundays preferred.

Typical shifts will be as follows:

Monday: 2p-8p

Saturday and Sunday: 11a-6p

• Welcome with a Smile: Greet every member by name and create a warm, positive experience from the moment they arrive
• Engage & Assist: Use your strong communication skills to answer questions and assist customers with product selection, ensuring they have everything they need
• Keep It Clean: Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting café area that reflects FFC’s commitment to superior service
• Cash Handling: Manage transactions accurately, ensuring that the register reflects all sales and services
• Food & Safety: Follow all food handling, safety, and sanitation procedures according to local, state, and federal health codes
• Prepare Delicious Treats: Craft food and juice bar items following company recipes to delight our members
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with your teammates and supervisor, taking on additional responsibilities as needed to keep the café running smoothly
