Job summary

Fitness Formula Clubs (FFC) Oak Park seeks a friendly Cafe Attendant for part-time hours. You will greet members, assist with product selection, maintain a clean café, handle transactions, and follow food safety standards in our vibrant fitness club environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet every member by name and create a warm, positive experience.
• Answer questions and assist customers with product selection.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting café area.
• Handle transactions accurately and ensure the register reflects sales.
• Follow all food handling, safety, and sanitation procedures.
• Craft food and juice bar items following company recipes.
• Collaborate with teammates and supervisor to keep the café running smoothly.

Position: Cafe Attendant

Required Shifts:

Monday availability is a must, flexible for Saturdays and Sundays preferred.

Typical shifts will be as follows:

Monday: 2p-8p

Saturday and Sunday: 11a-6p

Your Role:

• Welcome with a Smile: Greet every member by name and create a warm, positive experience from the moment they arrive
• Engage & Assist: Use your strong communication skills to answer questions and assist customers with product selection, ensuring they have everything they need
• Keep It Clean: Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting café area that reflects FFC’s commitment to superior service
• Cash Handling: Manage transactions accurately, ensuring that the register reflects all sales and services
• Food & Safety: Follow all food handling, safety, and sanitation procedures according to local, state, and federal health codes
• Prepare Delicious Treats: Craft food and juice bar items following company recipes to delight our members
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with your teammates and supervisor, taking on additional responsibilities as needed to keep the café running smoothly

Our Commitment to Hospitality:

FFC offers a robust training program mandatory for all employees to attend. The training includes multiple hospitality courses to be completed during your first 90 days. Your manager will go over your role specific training and dates upon hire.

Compensation: $15.40 per hour
