Café Yumm! in the greater Portland area is seeking a full-time Assistant Restaurant Manager to help lead one of our locations. This role focuses on supporting the Restaurant Manager, coaching teams, and delivering an exceptional guest experience.

Responsibilities include training staff, managing operations, and ensuring profitability while upholding Café Yumm!’s mission and values. The position offers solid benefits, career growth, and a path toward a Restaurant Manager role.

Formación

• Oregon Food Handler’s Permit (valid or ability to obtain)
• Valid State-issued driver’s license
• ServSafe Food Manager Certificate (or ability to obtain)
• Associate degree and related restaurant experience or substantial experience in the industry
• At least 1 year in the restaurant industry with supervisory/management experience

Responsabilidades

• Train staff across all restaurant stations (cashier, deluxe bar, dishwasher, expeditor, food prep, grill/salads)
• Order, receive, and account for food, equipment, and supplies
• Count cash drawers, maintain safety, and handle deposits
• Interview, hire, train, develop, counsel, discipline, and terminate team members
• Investigate and resolve guest complaints
• Drive restaurant sales and profitability
• Manage key profitability indicators like labor, COGS, and supplies
