Café Yumm! in the greater Portland area is hiring a full-time Assistant Restaurant Manager to help lead a location. You will mentor team members, ensure a guest-friendly experience, and drive daily operations in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Available to work any shift, including days, evenings, and weekends.
• Strong customer service and leadership abilities.
• Proficient with computers and POS systems.
• English language proficiency sufficient for ordering and reading POS documents.

Responsibilities

• Train team across all restaurant stations (cashier, prep, line, etc.).
• Order, receive, and account for food, equipment, and supplies.
• Count cash drawers, maintain safe, and run deposits.
• Interview, hire, train, develop, counsel, discipline, and terminate staff.
• Investigate and resolve guest complaints.
• Drive sales and profitability of the restaurant.
• Manage key profitability indicators including labor and COGS.
• Assist Restaurant Manager with schedule writing and coverage.
