Job summary

Velaura is seeking a CAD & Engineering Infrastructure Lead to build and own the engineering platform behind its silicon development, including compute infrastructure, EDA ecosystem, RTL-to-GDS release flow, and AI-assisted workflows.

You will own flow release, CI/CD pipelines, multi-vendor EDA tool deployment, licensing, procurement, and vendor strategy, while partnering with RTL, verification, DFT, physical design, and packaging teams to keep engineering productive.

Qualifications

• Understanding ASIC development lifecycle from architecture to tapeout.
• Experience owning CAD/infrastructure across multiple SoC programs.
• Hands-on setup/maintenance of RTL-to-GDS flow environments.
• Strong grasp of engineering compute infrastructure: scheduling, storage, networking, cloud.
• Experience deploying EDA tools from multiple vendors (Synopsys, Cadence, Siemens).

Responsibilities

• Define and drive engineering infrastructure requirements (compute, storage, job scheduling, security, backup, DR, cloud).
• Lead AI adoption across RTL, verification, DFT, physical design, packaging, software; identify leverage and scale from pilot to standard.
• Own design-flow CI/CD pipelines, release qualification, and QoR dashboards.
• Provide compute capacity and deployment support for thousands of regression jobs weekly; ensure infra won’t bottleneck.
• Own end-to-end flow release: content, testing, versioning, cadence, rollback.
• Lead deployment and integration of multi-vendor EDA tools, balancing productivity, quality, and cost.
