Lippert Components, Inc. in the United States seeks a Product Engineer to drive conception through production implementation of new products, improvements, and value engineering to existing lines.

You will use 3D CAD tools to design, prototype, and validate concepts, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets. The role emphasizes lean practices, customer-focused design, and robust documentation.

Competenze

• BS in Engineering or related field is required.
• 3+ years of experience with 3D CAD software (AutoCAD Inventor or SolidWorks preferred).
• Ability to apply engineering principles across broad assignments and build customer/supplier relationships.
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision and strong technical decision skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a focus on quality and Lean practices.

Mansioni

• Design, development, and evaluation of major new products and cost-reduction improvements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to transition products to production and define validation parameters.
• Estimate design and development costs throughout the process and provide timelines.
• Provide design concepts, development timetables, and anticipated costs for review.
• Create test plans and validate with lab technicians to ensure regulatory and customer requirements.
• Prepare drawings and prototypes meeting engineering standards and project goals.
• Establish tests and reviews to ensure results align with goals.
• Collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams on design decisions.
• Work with Manufacturing Engineering and Suppliers to develop DFM and DFA methods.
