Job summary

Lippert Components, Inc. is seeking a forward‑thinking engineering leader to manage a team of CAD Technicians focused on RV chassis frame drawings and components for external OEM customers.

You will guide design activity, enforce Lippert standards, and drive efficiency and cost savings across drafting workflows. The role requires a degree in engineering or related field, 5–7 years of solid modeling experience, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3D CAD software experience.
• SolidWorks experience highly preferred.
• PDM/PLM software experience a plus.
• Highly motivated and passionate leader of people.
• Strong organization and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and grow a team of CAD Technicians.
• Delegate work to CAD techs based on priorities.
• Ensure all drawings are accurately created and maintained to customer specifications while complying with Lippert RV Best Practices and organizational standards.
• Manage and implement internal/external cost savings and/or standardization initiatives.
• Assist in establishing and/or upgrading internal drafting and workflow standards and practices.
• Consistently use metrics to improve or maintain efficiency and quality of work.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and intercompany personnel.
• Aid in the training of new hires and continued support of team members software and product questions.
