Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure is seeking a Drafting/Engineering Associate to prepare and modify drawings per specifications and customer requirements. You will maintain catalog drawings for the website and collaborate with Division Engineer, Sales, Production and Quality Control to ensure accuracy against the latest drawings.

The role is based at a North Carolina plant and involves creating shop and manufacturing drawings, updating digital databases, and supporting production teams with precise

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant experience with AutoCAD/Autodesk Inventor.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret sketches, construction, and civil plans.
• Ability to review and understand contract drawings and specifications; proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to handle several projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Create Shop Drawings of products using 2D or 3D drafting.
• Create special manufacturing drawings for immediate production.
• Adhere to customer volumes, timelines and expectations.
• Prepare, modify, and maintain accurate catalog drawings for production and Quality Control.
• Prepare product assemblies or shop drawings for sales staff and plant projects.
• Update/maintain digital database (Autodesk Vault, cloud/server).
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.
