Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH Company, seeks a drafting specialist to prepare and modify drawings per specifications. You will build a precise digital catalog, work with engineering, sales, and production, and ensure compliance with latest shop drawings at one of our North Carolina plants in Raleigh, Greensboro, Fuquay Varina, Fayetteville, or Concord.

Candidates should have 2+ years of AutoCAD/Inventor experience, read construction plans, and be proficient in MS Office.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of drafting experience with AutoCAD/Inventor.
• Ability to read and interpret sketches, construction and civil plans.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic math.

Responsibilities

• Create Shop Drawings of products using 2D or 3D drafting.
• Create special manufacturing drawings for immediate production.
• Adhere to volumes, timelines and customer expectations.
• Prepare and maintain catalog drawings for production and QC.
• Prepare product assembly or shop drawings for sales and plant projects.
• Update digital database (Autodesk Vault, cloud server, hard copies).
• Other duties as assigned.
