Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH Company, is seeking a drafter to prepare and modify drawings per specifications and customer requirements. You will maintain accurate catalog drawings and digital library for the website, and work with Division Engineer, Sales, Production and Quality Control to ensure the product matches the latest part/shop drawings.

The role is based at the Hancock, MN plant and requires creating 2D/3D shop drawings, producing special manufacturing drawings, and updating

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant experience with AutoCAD/Autodesk Inventor.
• High school diploma or equivalent required/Associates Degree preferred.
• Must read and interpret sketches, construction, and civil plans.
• Ability to review and understand contract drawings and specifications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Must be detail oriented and able to handle several projects with minimal guidance.

Responsibilities

• Create shop drawings of products using 2D or 3D drafting.
• Create special manufacturing drawings for immediate production.
• Adhere to customer volumes, timelines and expectations.
• Prepare, modify, and maintain catalog drawings for production and Quality Control.
• Prepare product assembly or shop drawings for sales staff and plant projects as needed.
• Update/maintain digital database (Autodesk Vault, cloud storage).
• Other duties may be assigned.
