Job summary

Children's Hunger Alliance is seeking a CACFP Program Specialist to support and expand the CACFP across Northwest Ohio. You will work with childcare centers and in-home providers to deliver training, ensure compliance, and provide ongoing support that helps children access nutritious meals.

The role requires travel throughout Northwest Ohio and strong organizational, communication, and partnership-building skills. Knowledge of CACFP regulations and USDA guidelines is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or 2+ years in nutrition/child development/early childhood education or related field.
• Experience with structured childcare programs and training preferred.
• Valid State of Ohio driver's license and ability to travel within Northwest Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and train childcare centers and family providers participating in CACFP.
• Conduct on-site monitoring reviews and provider visits.
• Provide technical assistance and ensure program compliance.
• Review monthly claims and disallowances and maintain documentation.
• Train providers on systems such as Minute Menu.
