Job summary

Children's Hunger Alliance (CHA) in Northwest Ohio seeks a regional recruiter/trainer for the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). You will recruit and train childcare centers and family childcare providers, conduct monitoring reviews, and provide technical assistance to ensure program compliance.

You will also manage paperwork, report outreach activities, participate in meetings, and maintain organized records and provider resources. This role travels regionally within Northwest Ohio.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nutrition, Child Development/Early Childhood Education or 2 years relevant experience deemed appropriate.
• Experience with structured childcare programs and training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and train childcare centers staff and family childcare providers.
• Conduct on-site monitoring reviews of childcare centers and in-home reviews of family childcare providers.
• Provide technical assistance and customer service to childcare centers and family childcare providers to ensure program requirements are met.
• Review and process all required paperwork.
• Monitor and process disallowances on monthly claims.
• Develop and deliver promotion/education resources for CACFP.
